Dr. Roger Billings
Dr. Roger Billings has served as Chairman of the Board of WideBand Corporation since its inception in 1994 when he founded WideBand Corporation as a Missouri corporation. Later, WideBand of Missouri merged with Vis Viva Corporation of Nevada. Subsequent to the merger, Vis Viva, the surviving Corporation changed its name to WideBand Corporation and the Missouri Corporation was dissolved. WideBand was an early pioneer of Gigabit data rate networking. Under the direction of Dr. Billings, the company developed and manufactured one of the very first networking products to allow users to use Gigabit data rates over copper. More recently, Dr. Billings was the principle investigator of a US Army SBIR grant to develop a 100 Gigabit network with nano-latency.
Joseph R. Billings
Executive Vice President
Joseph Roger Billings is the Executive Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors, a capacity in which he has served since 2003. He was appointed Executive Vice President in 2005. In 2008, Joseph was named the President and took over the management of the day to day operations of the Company. Formerly, he was the President of fs-ix Corporation, a maker of high performance server products.
Dr. John A. Billings
Vice President, Research and Development
Dr. John Billings is a Director and the VP of Research & Development at WideBand. He has made significant technical contributions to the company as the principle designer of FPGAs and firmware for many of WideBand’s professional networking products. John was also a key participant in the development of the nano-latency, 100 Gigabit networking concentrator project sponsored by the US Army.
