WideBand Announces Layer 3 Training for Resellers
30
September 2005, Gallatin, Missouri - During the past several months,
the designers and engineers at WideBand have been hard at work
developing a series of important new network technology advancements
and groundbreaking products for enterprise-class Layer 3 networks. This
week, WideBand announced a special Layer 3 Certification Training event
to prepare its Resellers for these important product announcements.
The training, provided exclusively for WideBand's network of over 350
Reseller partners, certifies attendees to support WideBand equipment
and design cutting edge networks. Buying from Resellers with certified
WideBand engineers assures customers that they will receive the highest
level of support.
This 3-day training event will take place November 15-17, 2005 at the
International Academy of Science in Independence, Missouri.
The event will be part of WideBand's official Layer 3 Product Launch
that same week. New products include a next generation 16-port Gigabit
Ethernet Switch. The new products utilize Layer 3 architectures, which
are easier to manage, provide better performance and allow
significantly greater scalability.
These new WideBand Layer 3 products perform IP routing at wire-speed,
allowing network segments to be tied together with no loss in
performance. The enterprise-class Layer 3 products provide many other
important features including management that allows network managers to
eliminate the problems with "network chatter" and to protect against
broadcast storms.
